One of the most important masterpieces of world sacred music, Gioachino Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, comes for the first time as an absolute premiere on the stage of the National Opera and Ballet Theater and the People's Ensemble, marking a special event in the cultural and artistic life of the country.
Considered a spiritual testament of the Italian composer, this work fascinatingly combines the sacred dimension with deep musical sensitivity, creating a rich, intimate and reflective emotional language. Rossini brings here an internal dialogue between faith, humanism and art, expressed through music that directly touches the soul of the listener.
This performance features well-known soloists from the international and Albanian lyrical scene: soprano Svetlana Aksenova, mezzo-soprano Enkeleida Shkoza, tenor Klodjan Kaçani and bass Rubén Amoretti, who will bring Rossini's score to life with high-level artistic and vocal interpretation.
The production also marks an extraordinary artistic collaboration, bringing together the Kosovo Philharmonic Choir and the TKOBAP Choir, under the direction of choir conductors Hajrullah Syla and Dritan Lumshi. The work is performed by the TKOBAP Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Facundo Agudin, known for his musical vision and interpretative finesse.
This premiere invites the public on January 25th to a solemn and deeply emotional experience, where music becomes prayer, art becomes reflection, and the stage becomes a space for spiritual dialogue. An event that confirms TKOBAP's role as an important center of musical culture and art in the region.
