The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, reacted with harsh tones as she commented on the situation in Kruja last week, where members of the Rraja tribe raped two cousins, Bilbil and Jashar Maja, after the quarrel over the quarry.
During her speech in the Assembly, Tabaku said that today there are 50 quarries in the city of Krua, stressing that the Rrahmans of business have captured the parliament. Furthermore, the democratic deputy adds that the Albanian parliament has been covered with shame, adding that the criminals should leave that hall.
"Is there greater state capture? Is it a great crime for an entire state to have written concession contracts? This also comes after the Rrahman Rraja scandal in Kruja, where the strong man in politics and business succeeds by coming to parliament and never speaking. They were elected to the parliament for this. 50 quarries are in the city of Kruja. What happened to the system you wanted to overthrow? Today, the political and business leaders have captured the parliament.
If I were a member of the SP today, I would have lowered my head and apologized to the Albanians. The Ministry of Finance should talk about how it allowed a company under investigation to receive a concession. Anyone who was on the Commission of Inquiry into the Incinerators and defended them should apologise. With what moral height does Ulsi Manja speak when there is a file in the prosecutor's office. This is the way the socialist party won, with the Rrahmans of Kruja and business. I believe that from the SP there are also many conscientious colleagues who have refused to sign.
Those who have not become a part of this today should raise their voices and demand that the request to remove the immunity of Arben Ahmetaj be voted on the agenda. Today Albania has a stain of shame. This is the stain of parliament. The moment has come to divide things in Albanian politics. Something I know for sure is that the greatest shame that has covered the Albanian parliament, they should leave this parliament with shame", declared Tabaku.
