The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, recounted how he spent the 11 months of house arrest.
"It was deprivation of liberty. It was the same as in prison. The prison may have a narrower room, but as long as you can't get out, it was a prison. In fact, in prison you have a yard where you go out every day and walk. I didn't have a yard. Edi Rama thought he would get the mandate this way, but he was wrong," said Sali Berisha.
Returning to the campaign, Berisha emphasized that he is receiving positive news from every region.
"In Vlora, they told me that out of every 8 people, 6 were for the opposition and 2 for Edi Rama. So, am I committing a sin if I say that it will not start from Vlora? I have not yet determined it, but I see a very positive climate. In every district, I would like to get the maximum, because this regime does not deserve the votes of the citizens," Berisha told "A2 CNN".
