The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that any attempt to influence votes through threats or criminal interference will be severely punished.
During an electoral meeting in Vlora, Berisha said that those who dare to buy votes will be declared international terrorists, adding that they will face major consequences.
"I give you my word of honor, those who are implicated in the votes will be declared international terrorists and will face unimaginable consequences," Berisha said.
He also emphasized that the "Greater Albania" program aims to involve every citizen in building a better future for the country.
"Criminal groups will be brought before the law. Bandits, if implicated in the votes, will be considered a terrorist group. I tell the gangs not to dare to intimidate citizens, because I give you my word of honor, you will be declared international terrorists, you will have punishments that you cannot imagine. The Greater Albania Program invites every opposition member to become a missionary in presenting the program to every Albanian, socialist, to everyone who wants to live in Albania and contribute to our country", said Berisha.
