Rudina Hajdari honored the figure of her father, Azem Hajdari, on the 25th anniversary of his murder.
In a statement to the media, the former PD deputy said that Azem Hajdari would do everything for the Democratic Party to unite.
According to her, if he were alive PD would not be what it is today.
Rudina Hajdari said Azemi's figure was unifying, while emphasizing that young people should take it as an example of inspiration.
"Today we honor the figure and work of Azem Hajdari. He was one of the important figures of Albanian pluralism. HE was himself 35 years old when he passed away treacherously. What we fondly remember today is that if Azem Hajdari were today, this PD would not be like this. Often times his work becomes more important as the years go by. Azem Hajdari has been a unifying figure. Today, Azem Hajdari would do everything possible to unite PD, to sacrifice everything so that we could have a PD that is guided by ideas, principles and ideals. He fought for justice and democracy. I, as his daughter, have tried in all my efforts to keep his figure and work alive. This day is for young people who should use the figure of Azem Hajdari as a reference point to bring democracy and justice", said Rudina Hajdari.
