Ervin Salianji

The protest announced by the Democratic Party and the scenarios that may accompany it were discussed on the show "Quo Vadis" moderated by Pranvera Borakaj. Invited to the studio, former MP Ervin Salianji commented on the organization and possible form of the rally.

Asked if the opposition will set up a tent in front of the Prime Minister's Office, as in 2017, Salianji did not rule out any alternative. "Every decision that is made, whoever makes it will be responsible," he said, adding that any form of organization requires responsibility and structure.

Regarding the idea of the tent, he reacted with the question: "What does tent mean?" He then commented on Lapaj's initiative, stating that "Lapaj is doing very well, he is making his own resistance. He is sacrificing himself. The DP has 500 thousand voters, he cannot come out and fail."

Salianji emphasized that the protest must be based on organizational strength and sustainable participation. "If they have the organizational strength like they had that day, they would gather 1,000 people a day, they would call for protests once a week. If it is done, we should do it well; if we did it well, definitely. Any form of protest that dismantles Rama's government is valid. These 3 protests were not needed," he said.

According to him, the form of the recent protests was not appropriate. "Without speakers. Giving a voice to those who have concerns, it should have been done in a different form; we have always succeeded," declared Salianji, while in the studio there was a reaction with the objection: "You have never succeeded."
