Details have emerged from the testimony and responses of the leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, in the Special Court (GJKKO), where he appeared as a prosecutor in the "Partizani" case.
During the session, Jamarbër Malltezi brought to attention the role of Prime Minister Edi Rama at the time when he headed the Municipality of Tirana, raising the issue of decision-making as chairman of the Territorial Regulation Council (KRT).
When asked about this, Balla stated that he was unaware of such a decision, but emphasized the change that the area in question has undergone, where, according to him, numerous buildings have been built from sports fields.
The case is related to the privatization of the "Partizani" sports complex, for which former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi, are under indictment.

Malltezi: Are you aware that citizen Edi Rama has done KRT?
Balla: I stand by what I said in my complaint. I am not aware of this decision. Where there were 17 sports fields, today there are 17 construction towers.
Malltezi: You mentioned the creation of a commercial company. What criminal act is involved?
Balla: The "homeplan" company was created by a single individual. After 17 towers were built, it became a shareholder company.
Malltezi: You say that Malltezi owns 140 m2.
Balla: From the investigations conducted in the media, it turned out that Malltezi was 1/64 share and you woke up with 60% of the property in the end.
