The Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, appeared today at the premises of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), following a previous request from the investigative body.
It is previously reported that her appearance is related to the ongoing investigations against former Tirana mayor Erion Veliaj. In this context, Kumbaro is expected to be questioned regarding the case known as "Harabeli".
Veliaj's wife, Ajola Xoxa, is also under investigation in this case, while authorities have not yet provided official details on the role of the people involved.
