Altin Dumani says 'NO' to the capture of SPAK by the Rama government,
Dumani and Xhafaj

The SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office has refused to send its two experts and become part of the Special anti-corruption commission, which is now known as the "Xhafaj" commission.

But in the same line with the head of SPAK Altin Dumani, it is learned that the Chief Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela, who initially planned to send the two prosecutors Kosta Beluri and Arqile Koça to the commission as senior experts, but later learned to be withdrawn by holding a rejection position.

Journalist Elton Qyno writes that SPAK's decision to reject the Special Commission's request, which required the appointment of two SPAK prosecutors as high-level experts, was taken during a meeting held a few days ago with the entire body of SPAK prosecutors.

The meeting was held with the aim of giving a definitive answer to the request of the parliamentary committee, where after analyzing and discussing the situation, the 20 SPAK prosecutors came up with a common opinion, replying to the parliamentary committee that they refuse to send two prosecutors of this structures, who have been invited to be part of the discussions as high-level experts.

According to the answer that SPAK has sent to the Special Parliamentary Commission, the prosecutors of this structure are unclear about the work agenda and the purpose of this commission.

Therefore, taking into account the large load of proceedings that the prosecutors have in the investigation and trial, they have refused to become part of the works of this parliamentary commission.

However, in the boycott response that SPAK forwarded to the parliamentary committee, they leave a communication path with the "Xhafaj" committee, reminding them that if the committee will ask for a legal opinion, the legal assistance of the prosecutors is provided remotely.

This response is described by the lawyers as an act of indifference that SPAK maintains with the Special Parliamentary Commission, aiming to preserve constitutional independence.

But on the other hand, the jurists asked by "Ora News" say that this rejection decision shows the big institutional rift that the majority has with SPAK, a rift that is expected to create an even bigger gap in the coming times.

It is whispered that there is a silent war between SPAK and the Special Parliamentary Commission, where the purpose of the commission is to control and keep under monitoring the special SPAK structure.

In 5 years of work, this structure has brought dozens of accused officials to court. Meanwhile, success has been encountered with the "SKY" application, where police officers, prosecutors, judges and elements of the underworld have been arrested.

Meanwhile, during his work SPAKK has been noted for extreme investigative measures and serious procedural violations and, above all, violations of human rights.

But lately it seems that a wind is blowing on special scenarios for the control of SPAK, which, rightly or wrongly, is seriously threatening political leaders and high state officials.

It is expected that in the following days the "Xhafaj" commission is expected to start its work, where these discussions will be permanently followed by 53 high-level experts, who will undoubtedly provide their experience and knowledge for concrete legal initiatives with the aim of changing the legislation to fight corruption as hard as possible.

Well-known jurisprudence names have become part of the commission, mainly experts called as law professors, representatives of business and civil society.
