Bardhi-Gjekmarkaj officially Berisha's deputy, the National Council

With these statutory changes, Jorida Tabaku is introduced to the Presidency, but the latter did not participate in any meeting today...

Gazment Bardhi and Agron Gjekmarkaj have been officially appointed vice presidents of the Democratic Party of Reestablishment.

Today, the Chairmanship and then the National Council of the PD met, which changed the Statute and decided that Bardhi and Gjekmarkaj will be appointed vice-presidents by proposal and not by vote as defined earlier.

Specifically, in Article 47 of the statute, a point is added according to which the Chairmanship of the parliamentary group becomes part of the Chairmanship of the Reestablishment.

" In the event that after determining the composition of the Presidency of the DPSH, according to point 1 of article 47, deputies who are members of the Presidency of the Parliamentary Group of the DPSH, do not become its members, the latter are co-opted with the Presidency, as its members with full rights, until the end of the parliamentary mandate, or their election according to point 1 of article 47 ", it is stated in point 3 which is added to article 47.

At the same time, a paragraph was added to Article 51, which paves the way for the appointment of party vice-presidents, the head of the parliamentary group and the democratic vice-president of the Assembly. Also, with these changes, Jorida Tabaku is included in the Presidency, but the latter did not participate in any meeting today.

The two articles that change:

In Article 47 of the PDSH statute, after point 2, point 3 is added with the following content: " In the event that after the determination of the composition of the Presidency of the DPSH, according to point 1 of Article 47, deputies who are members of the Presidency of the Parliamentary Group of the DPSH, do not result in its members, the latter are co-opted with the Presidency, as its members with full rights, until the end of the parliamentary mandate, or their election according to point 1 of article 47'.

In Article 51 of the PDSH statute, after point 2, point 3 is added with the following content:  "In the event that after the election of the vice-presidents, according to the provisions of article 45, it results that the president of the parliamentary group of the DP and, as the case may be, the Vice-President/Chairman of of the Assembly of Albania are not winners according to this procedure, then they are automatically considered vice-presidents of the party due to the function. Throughout this mandate, each of them enjoys and exercises the same rights and responsibilities as the elected vice-presidents, as long as they enjoy the function of the leader of the DP parliamentary group and/or that of the Vice-President/Speaker of the Assembly of Albania".
