Today, the chairman of the official Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, will convene the National Council at 11.00.
At today's meeting, September 9, the National Council will elect the Presidency of the Assembly, the secretaries, the vice-presidents and the spokesperson of the DP group.
Basha himself has said that he will not be the chairman of the parliamentary group and that he will delegate that function to one of his 4 elected vice-chairmen.
The meeting will take place in the same hall where, a few days ago, Gazment Bardhi called a meeting of all the democrats, where only Sali Berisha attended, but Basha was not present.
Along with 41 democratic deputies, Sali Berisha responded to Gazment Bardhi's invitation by participating and even commenting.
"This meeting of ours today is the most appropriate message that we send to over 600,000 citizens who, in the most unequal conditions in 32 years, stayed as idealists and voted for the opposition in the electoral farce of May 14," he said.
In this meeting absorbed by Gazment Bardhi, 16 democratic deputies were absent who have lined up in favor of Lulzim Basha.
While on September 2, Basha convened the National Assembly of the Democratic Party, where the statutory changes were approved, according to which the chairman of the Democratic Party also takes the post of the head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party.
Basha said that Bardhi has been dismissed as the head of the group, while this task that the National Assembly passed on to him a day ago, he said that he will delegate to one of the vice presidents.
Gazment Bardhi reacted immediately to this, who went to a post on social networks that Basha lives in disillusionment.
"Living in disillusionment is a personal misfortune. Consciously deceiving others and above all yourself, for the umpteenth time, is unforgivable!", wrote Bardhi.
Meanwhile, after these distant replies, Basha and Bardhi had a verbal clash in the Assembly, as the speaker Lindita Nikolla read the decision that the leader of the DP was now also the head of the Parliamentary group.
Bardhi said that when Nikola announced that Basha was the president of the DP, he added the button to speak. However, at this moment, Basha told Bardhi not to make a fuss.
Lulzim Basha did not stop here and sent another message to the head of the Group, Gazment Bardhi, during the meeting of the College of Chairmen.
"Good luck in the anti-American bunker," Basha said, adding that "you can't harm the PD anymore."
Basha emphasized that "whoever wants to join the alliance of the tower of corruption is free, but not to carry the flag of the Democrats or to speak on their behalf, but to speak on behalf of personal interests or the Bermuda Triangle".
