Sali Berisha and Lulzim Basha received another strong blow from Ilir Meta. After getting the majority of the commissioners, the head of PL will now also get the funds.
The Central Election Commission approved today the value of a ballot, basing the calculations on the May 14 elections.
"We have had no comments from the political parties?! OK, we approve the draft act from which they determine the value of the vote in the amount of 81 lek", said the head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi.
The Socialist Party will be the one that will take the lion's share as the winner of the local elections, after it managed to get over 579 thousand votes. While Ilir Meta as the leader of the "Together We Win" coalition has about 247,000 votes, which means that the influx of Democrats will translate into more funds for the Freedom Party.
Translated into money, the socialists will receive 46.9 million ALL, while Ilir Meta 20 million. The official DP received 103 thousand votes, which will give Lulzim Basha 8.4 million ALL. Tom Doshi's PSD is also profitable, and its 86,000 votes will translate into about 6.9 million ALL.
This means that Sali Berisha comes out "shaven" from May 14, meanwhile PD Lulzim Bashes has completed the third force. A few days ago, the CEC divided the commissioners of the KAZEZ of Kukës, where the partial elections will be held. Based on the results of May 14, PL came out as the first opposition force in the local government and got 2 commissioners, while PD only 1. It seems that now Meta has also taken their money leaving Berisha dry and giving another blow to Basha .
