SPAK is giving positive signals, but needs to do more to hold senior officials accountable. Dashamir Shehi, head of LZHK, was of this opinion, who was invited to a TV show today.
Shehi said that SPAK's activity should be narrowed down to the investigation of a smaller circle and focused on MPs and ministers.
He added that the SP as the only force that has been in the government for more years has committed more corruption and not all those responsible are being investigated.
" SPAK should do its work according to the law it has. A republic is not defined by prosecutors. Politics must have its own "weapons". SPAK must do what is required by law. Even politicians should be treated the same as everyone else, without political influence. I am one of those who support him, I see some positive things and I see that he will do more.
If SPAK will be charged for every theft, it will do nothing. I say deal only with MPs and ministers. If they can't afford it, they give you more staff. Even as a structure, it loses confidence. SPAK cannot solve the problems of politics in Albania. Those who expect that SPAK will solve Albania's problems are wrong.
We give time and see what he will do. This is the longest-lasting government, so violence after violence has been accumulated and this government has committed more corruption. 12 years in the government, scandal after scandal emerges, the people are not stupid. I am one of those who have hope that these will lend a helping hand to the public environment in Albania ", said Shehi in "Vizion Plus".
