The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said in the Now show on Euronews Albania that the only reason why he did not go to meet Ilir Meta in prison, as he did with Ervin Salianj, is only procedural.

Berisha said that he is interested in meeting Meta, but he was told that he is in custody and meetings are not allowed.

" I would go to meet Ilir Meta 10 times, but they claim that detainees cannot meet. They told me that of course I was interested, but they informed me that he is in custody and they don't allow meetings ", said Berisha.
