The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today held an open conversation with citizens and supporters in Manëz.
Berisha spoke about the elections, the protection of the vote, while attacking the former leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha, saying that 'instead of dealing with the protection of the vote, he dealt with me'.
"Now we must start the battle to protect the vote. You cannot fight unfair battles, the elections are both national and international. The former president, instead of dealing with vote-stealing, dealt with me, with the party. Because he was in agreement with him. He forgot what the government did. Then the calamitous period that the DP went through began. On the 11th, it would never have lost the elections, if Rama had not forgiven 2 billion euros in interest and debts two days before the elections," said Berisha.
