The Assembly will vote on Thursday in a parliamentary session on the measure of arrest against Sali Berisha.
The decision was taken after 4 hours of discussions in the Council of Mandates, where Enkelejd Alibeaj of the Lulzim Basha camp joined the 5 votes of the majority.
Invited to the show "Drejt" in front of moderator Luan Rama on Ora News, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said that those who voted are mercenaries.
The meeting took place under strong police measures.
700 officers surrounded the building due to the PD protest, ensuring the entry of two prosecutors, as well as deputies.
After Thursday's vote in the Assembly, the prosecution will turn to the Court to continue with the measure of arrest until the end of the investigations into the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex.
"Parliament never makes a decision against a deputy without verifying the evidence. They have no proof. They are mercenaries who have no law or morals.
In 3 years of investigations, in a process that lasted from 1994 to 2009, so it goes without saying that there must be hundreds of documents, not a single one with Sali Berisha's signature was found. Today I have here 4 decisions with the signature of Edi Rama", he said.
