Mirel Mërtiri, known in the media as the owner of the incinerators, has decided to become alive. After running away from justice and hiding outside, he has decided to speak on television today near the Berisha family, wanting to wash himself and those who are immersed in the incinerator affair.
“We start with Elbasan. My position is very clear and simple, my family is the temporary owner of the waste processing plant in Elbasan. The Albtek company is in the company, which was supposed to exist in the administration of my family for only 7 years. It is clearly defined in the contract. At the end of the 7th year, the company and the contract were transferred to the management of the Albanian state, namely the Ministry of Energy and subsequently, the Municipality of Elbasan. The first is not a tender, the second is not a company owned. Third, the companies that participated in the construction of this plant have several years of experience in the Italian state. Albtek is a company owned by my family only temporarily. I speak according to the conditions that are defined in the contracts", said Mërtiri.
Next was Belind Kelliçi, who directly asked Mërtir if he knows Engjëll Agaçi, the General Secretary of the prime minister.
“Living in Albania, you will definitely have relations with Albanian politicians because it is a specific life, because we are people, we are human beings. Mr. Kelliçi, you are starting the conversation with proper names, which I have no business doing tonight.
I don't use proper names for a reason. It is not correct when there are certain, diverted investigations by SPAK against my family members, it cannot happen. I'm giving you an answer now about Mr. Agaçi, I don't know him, I haven't met him, and I don't know what he does in his life," Mërtiri said on "Syri TV".
