The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, emphasized that the Democratic Party must be unified. Tabaku did not spare his criticism of the Rama government, stating that the arrogance of the government has brought about the chaotic political situation in the country.
“We have to ask ourselves if PD is an alternative today? And we must do everything to make DP an alternative. I think of it as a party that was born with some ideals, I believe that DP is one of the best alternatives to transform Albania. PD for me should unite, but mechanically, but with a generational transformation. With a new generation that is not lacking in DP. Together with colleagues from the parliamentary group, we have tried to fight in the Parliament. It took an entire budget and very little space. I have tried to make my opposition to the budget in every decision-making process. A single person cannot do it. There have been other people who have spoken. But there were also other initiatives.
The law on the legalization of medical cannabis passed in the summer almost without debate. The law that penalized medical students, therefore, it is a matter of continuity that citizens want to be represented. I say that a two-year battle did not bring us what we need. I say that the opposition's offer must be unified. First we need to change our mindset.
The colleagues who are protesting in the parliament have every reason to do so, since when you have no space to change the regulations. In the middle of a political crisis, what has the government done to solve it? Or does he care that the opposition does not participate in the institutions. Is the regulation bias changed without starting a debate with the opponent? The opponent may be wrong, but that is not how the situation is resolved. This arrogance of the all-powerful power has brought us to where we are", said Tabaku on the show "Real Story" on "ABC".
