The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Fitim Zekthi, describes former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's failure to go to court as an illogical action.
In an interview for "Tirana Live" on ABC News, Zekthi said that the work of SPAK cannot be hindered by any of the Albanian politicians. According to Zekthi, the tension created by the pulpit in the Assembly can also be related to the fact that this Monday, Berisha would have to appear in court.
"Regarding this issue, they may also be related. I know that SPAK, no matter how much it is hindered, will never be hindered and all Albanian politicians will be verified. Mr. Rama, Berisha, Basha will be verified by SPAK, it is useless. Anyone who is questioned or investigated by SPAK, must be explained. I would like Berisha to do this. I wish she was innocent. SPAK, as a whole, is an institution that is supported by the EU and the USA. Both the EU and the US are more trusted than our politicians. The issues may be related. The political action of Mr. Berisha is illogical from the first day. Such movements never win", emphasized Zekthi.
