Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the chaos and flames in the Assembly, where in the plenary session of this Thursday, the draft budget was approved with 73 votes in favor amid strong clashes.

The head of the government says that with these actions the opposition has reached the end and that "they have taken with them the plight of a person wanted by justice".

"They introduced the vocabulary and manners of the street into politics, while they threw politics in the middle of the four roads, sowing strife, chaos, violence and reaping loss, loss, loss... They have already reached the end, where the plight of a wanted by justice, which will not let them go until they crumble and pieces and pieces reappear on the water, like the debris of a sunken ship", writes Rama in his reaction.

In today's session, the deputies of the Democratic Party lit many flares in the hall, one of which burst into flames.

The hall was emptied after the flames in the Assembly, where the ministers and MPs left immediately, even after them and the journalists. The majority approved the draft budget for 2024 within 5 minutes, marking the shortest session of the Assembly in the history of parliamentarism.

Prime Minister Rama was also present at the session, who did not take the floor, but participated in the voting of the draft budget.

The flames spread after one of the flares fell on the desk seat of one of the opposition MPs.

It was the intervention of the water guard that prevented the flames from spreading.
