Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in an official statement to the media, spoke about the Berlin Process Summit that was held yesterday in Tirana.
Berisha declared that the Summit was the biggest event for the region and said that beyond the facade, the host is the fight itself, referring to Rama. According to him, Rama only three days before the summit gave a speech against the political leadership of Kosovo.
Berisha said that the mimic of the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabiç, was expressing "the message of his master" to Rama, that he did not do his job well, as he had promised that Kurti would not participate in the Tirana Summit.
"The European summit was convened, but the Balkan quarrels remain. The Western Balkans continues to remain a land of strife in Europe. The summit was the biggest event for the region. It reaffirmed the support of the European perspective for the nations of the region. This summit had another very important result, the burial in the pyramid of Europe's most Stalinist dictator, Enver Hoxha, of the Russian-Serbian Open Balkans project and, together with it, the dream of Edi Rama and Aleksandër Vucic, for the division of Kosovo between Serbia and Albania.
By itself, with its meeting in Tirana, the summit brought to the Western Balkans, the antidote to the quarrel, but this effect was not there.
Why this? Because beyond the facade, the host is the fight itself.
He, on the eve of the summit, did not aim to calm the existing quarrels, in which he himself is involved, but did everything to open them up more.
Three days before the summit, he gave a speech like Enver Hoxha, against the political leadership of Kosovo and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, for the sole fault that they have opposed his brutal interventions like Vučić's argat in the internal affairs of their country. and the anti-Albanian project of dividing Kosovo between Serbia and Albania.
Thus, Rama not only did not work to melt the ice between Tirana and Pristina, but on the eve of the summit he did the opposite, he continued the cold war started by him for years.
Apart from these, what stood out was the nose-to-mouth appearance of Prime Minister Brnabič next to the mayor of Belgrade.
With her body language and dismissive facial expressions, she expressed the message of his boss, the argat, that you did not do your job well, you promised that Kurti would not come to the Tirana summit.
In fact, Rama, months ago when he first imposed sanctions on Kosovo, had warned that there would be no place for Kurti at the summit, as if this was his personal summit and not the EU and the region.
But Kurti did not fall into their trap and although Rama spared nothing to irritate and discourage him, so that he would refuse to come to Tirana, this did not happen.
Albin Kurti came and gave Rama the tin he deserved. The only bilateral meeting in this summit, announced by the media, was the meeting of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, with the Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz" , said Berisha.
