The President of France, Emmanuel Macron from Tirana, where he is conducting an official visit, said that he expects the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, to condemn the September 24 attack in Banjska, Kosovo, by the Serbian paramilitary group, where a Kosovo policeman was killed.
"We are following with great vigilance the tensions that exist. It is Vucic's responsibility to unequivocally condemn the acts of September 24 because it contributes to the return of calm to the border. What we expect from the Kosovar and Serbian authorities is the reorganization of the elections in the municipalities where they were held in inappropriate conditions, the participation of the Serbs in these elections, the recognition of the association by the Kosovar authorities. According to this order completely and totally and I expect President Vucic to be responsible, I expect the same from the President and Prime Minister of Kosovo. We trusted you on the issue of visas, the issue has been suspended by France because the word is not being kept", said Macron.
