"Selmani is the son of his mother...", Alesia Balliu's irony with the referendum on Berisha

Alesia Balliu, who was not allowed to run for president of the Democratic Party, has reacted with irony on social networks, regarding the referendum being held today, while there is only one name on the ballot, that of Sali Berisha.

In her post, Balliu ironizes the fact that the DP celebrates the re-election of Sali Berisha as party leader, while the LGBT community celebrates the right to choose and diversity.

"Democracy in Albania has become interesting: the DP celebrates re-electing the same president after so many years, LGBT celebrates the right to choose. In the end, the people are left wondering: 'Who is changing the most here?' Mother's son Selmani...", she writes.

The post has brought numerous reactions and comments online, due to the political and social irony it conveys.
