
The Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) is expected to communicate the charges to former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi today.
The head of the Democratic Party is expected to appear at SPAK at 12:00 on Wednesday, while his son-in-law, Malltezi, two hours later, around 2:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the democrats have mobilized today to gather in front of the building of the Special Prosecutor's Office, as a sign of protest for what Sali Berisha has often called a "political arrest".
And in the framework of this announcement, the arrival of special troops has begun at SPAK, which will be ready for any unexpected event that may happen at the democrats' rally while they wait for SPAK's decision.
Near the premises of SPAK, the scenes where special forces vans arrive at SPAK are clearly visible.
As soon as he received the summons, the former prime minister mobilized the democrats to protest in front of SPAK.
"Dear friends. On Wednesday at 12:00 p.m., the president of PD Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha will go to the SKAP criminal organization. Let's all mobilize as much as possible for a powerful protest of solidarity with the right, with the truth, against narco-justice. Thank you", says the message sent to the structures.
Berisha is accused by SPAK of committing the criminal offense "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials, committed in cooperation. The former prime minister has considered the accusations against him and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi as a political attack, since according to him, there are no facts and documents to raise doubts about the accusations.
