The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has commented on the blocking of the Electoral Reform Commission by the Reestablishment and deputies of Gazment Bardhi.
During a conference with journalists, Basha said that Berisha and Rama do not want open lists.
"Neither Rama likes open lists. If they are against the open list, they will declare it openly. You have to ask more, are you for open lists? Well, my lord, let the priest sit down, but you have to ask him if they are for open lists. If you are against the open list, you have the same motive as Rama, you don't want the electoral reform commission. If you are for an open list, instead of making the priest sit down, act differently. This is a debate that I kindly ask the media not to ignore next week. For this process to serve the interest of the citizens, each party must show its cards. PD has open lists, the vote of the diaspora... four conditions. DP and I will not part with this debate until the Albanians are clear about who is playing what game", said Basha.
