The General Secretary of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, has today threatened the head of the government, Edi Rama, that he will be held responsible if something happens to Meta in prison.
He also said that since yesterday around the Freedom Party there have been people who, according to him, are spies of the state information service.
"I have a public warning to all the spies of the state information service and SPAK since last night until today they are roaming like hyenas around PL, stay away. Stay away from this building because even Altin Dumani will not harm you. And of course I have another warning for Edi Rama personally. If something happens to Ilir Meta inside the premises where he is isolated, the responsibility will be his personal. Not a mouse hole, but he won't find a needle hole either" , said Blushi in a statement to the media.
Among other things, he said that he communicated with Meta, who is in the cell, and the PL President has no special order from the prison.
"Ilir Meta is very healthy, strong. No need for extra orders from jail. The party's line is clear, fight without compromise, fighting tooth and nail with the narco-state," said Blushi.
The head of PL was arrested yesterday near the Kamza bend, while he was returning with his vehicle from Kosovo. He is charged with three charges, money laundering, corruption and non-declaration of assets. Security measure "compulsion to appear" was imposed on Monika Kryemadhi, "house arrest" to Piro Xixho and "compulsion to appear" to Ema Çok.
