The official figures come out, only 45 percent of Kuksians participated in the elections

The citizens of Kukës voted this Sunday, in the early local elections, for the new mayor. The voting process was closed at 19:00, while according to the CEC, 45.63% participated in the election. Fewer citizens exercised their right to vote, compared to the elections of May 14, where the socialist Safet Gjici won, whose mandate was short-lived due to the sexual scandal in which he was involved. 52.79% of citizens participated in the May 14 elections.
