The killing of a policeman on duty and the movement of a group of armed men to the north has brought back memories of war and uncertainty among Albanians living in Kosovo. In a conference with journalists, Prime Minister Albin Kurti was seen trying to give a dignified response to this act that requires justice, but also to be careful, so that the situation does not degrade, as it would interest Belgrade.
Because it is clear that the attack was organized and directed from Belgrade, just as it happened before with the boycott of the Serbs in the north, with the violent protests after the elections or with the kidnapping of three Albanian policemen by the special teams of Serbia.
And in this situation, when Pristina needs support, some sterile reactions come from official Tirana. Castrated to shamelessness by a president and a prime minister, who don't even dare to mention the Serbs in their reaction.
If you notice carefully in the message distributed by the press office of the president Bajram Begaj, the word "Serbia" is not found in any line. Begaj calls the attack "an organized criminal act" and "a serious violation of the order and security of the Republic of Kosovo", while calling on the international community to react to the "orderers and implementers of this extremely serious act for the stability of Kosovo".
It is no coincidence that Begaj cannot mention Serbia. In the same line is the prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama, who cannot mention Serbia in any line of his reaction, as the country behind the attack that took the life of the Albanian policeman and which is seeking the destabilization of Kosovo.
On the contrary, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, sees an extraordinary international conference as a solution, an old proposal from Serbia that aims to challenge, invalidate and question the fact that Kosovo is already an independent state and should be respected as such. .
According to Rama, the solution is not to call on Serbia to stop and not send special teams that kidnap and kill policemen to the territory of Kosovo, but "to call an extraordinary peace conference, under the supervision and guarantee of the European Union and the States of United".
The reactions of Rama and Begaj are once again in the wake of Tirana's servile and kneeling policy towards the USA and the European Union, which in this period have been harsh with Albin Kurti and tolerant with Aleksandër Vucic. Precisely because they humbly follow international policies, Rama and Begaj self-censor in their reactions, maintaining shameful attitudes as if they were spokespersons for international organizations./ Lapsi.al
