For some time now, the American Embassy in Tirana has not had any political communication with Edi Rama or Sali Berisha. There are no more diplomatic smiles or encouraging messages from Washington. There are only clear, targeted attacks on the Albanian political caste that has captured the state, privatized public assets, and stolen hope.
Instead of dialogue, we have bombs that burst the bunkers of political clientelism, perfectly intertwined between the government and the opposition, between the oligarchs and the so-called independent institutions, which serve the "big fish" with their villas in Lalzi Bay, Kodra e Diellit and further afield in Europe, Dubai and the USA.
The political system in Albania has only produced enrichment for officials and poverty for citizens. In 34 years, justice has never been offered to the "tower", but only to the hut. When Western diplomacy sent critical signals, the 4 mafia clans that rule the economy, politics, media and justice, turned them into fireworks for a media spectacle.
Absolute control over wealth and power has made these clans untouchable, but no longer invisible. Now, even those who were silent have spoken.
The latest statement from the US Embassy is a direct blow to the Sultan of Surrel. The words of the US Senior Advisor for Democracy and Human Rights, Samuel Samson, are clear:
“Suppression of speech, facilitation of mass emigration, targeting of expression of faith and undermining of elections threaten the very foundations of the transatlantic partnership.”
Albania is here! This is the Albania described:
– Pressure on free speech
– Organized emigration of youth by the government
– Elections rigged by patronage and gangs
– State that attacks citizens and protects oligarchs
This statement was not distributed by any other embassy in the region. Only the American Embassy in Tirana. Not for Putin, nor for Orbán. For Edi Rama and his personal regime that has become a national curse.
Meanwhile, the army of patronage and government analysts are trying to relativize the message. Some say this applies to France, Germany, and the EU elections. But America has never sent a “verbal note” to Berlin about the Bay of Lalzi, nor to Paris about Kodra e Diellit. It has spoken about Albania and the thieves who have choked democracy.
This is not just a statement. It is a warning of coming retribution. It is no longer coded, nor diplomatic. It is the end of American patience with a political class that uses democracy as a cover to govern with the mafia.
So, shut up when you say “this has nothing to do with us.” America is talking about you, you gentlemen thieves!
