Prime Minister Rama was in Vlora this afternoon, for the closing of the electoral campaign in this region before the May 11 elections.
He invited the socialists of Vlora to come out and vote on Sunday, while emphasizing the importance of obtaining 9 mandates in this district. Rama pledged that in the next 4 years, investments in Vlora will be such that today seem impossible.
"A friend of mine from Tirana had seen Kuçi's memorandum, he wrote to me how it was possible that you put the 9th mandate of Vlora at 50%. I told him why? Vlora, don't give you 9 mandates for yourself, he said, it's impossible. You don't know the people of Vlora, I told him. Vlora can give you 10 more mandates. The problem is how to get Vlora out of the house. Every Vlora and Vlora citizen on May 11th must leave the great truth that he knows all about himself and must leave the house.
"It strikes me that with all these transformations in Vlora, with all this fame that has come to it, and with all that jealousy for Vlora because of me, it is not good for the SP to rise to 80 or so mandates and Vlora to remain at 8. I know that the people of Vlora know it all. I assure everyone in Vlora, Selenica, Himara that if in these years more has been done for Vlora than in all the years taken together, in the next 4 years we will do things for Vlora that today seem impossible," Rama said.
