Report TV publishes some of the voice messages through which Endri Shabani was threatened, immediately after his fight with Adriatik Lapaj for the mandate.
"I never thought this turmoil could come. You were unclear, Adriatic, Pano. I trusted you immensely, but not to do these behind-the-scenes things, what are these. It's shameful. They can't eat us in the trust, they'll drink the blood of my children. There's no chance.
"Oh Endri, listen to me. You have been very treacherous, it will cost you dearly, we will never leave the Adriatic alone, the Adriatic has an entire army behind. You with those underpads of yours, along with uncle ****. You have made a big mistake, entering our bosom because we trusted you, but you have been very treacherous, we will see you soon," the voice messages say.
Shabani says that the people who threatened him are Adriatiku's cousins.
"They are the cousins of Adriatik, 3 brothers. If Adriatik does not hold responsibility for his cousins, why do you ask me to hold responsibility for my cousins? Either they did it on Tik's orders, or they did it on their own, and my cousin Kordhoni did it on his own. Many people have fled Albania, all in silence. I have always wondered why they do not show what internal tensions are. Imagine coming out against these, a simple member coming out against Adriatik, you can imagine. Do you have a case where someone is threatened with criminal groups because of the initiative? We are talking about a model that the parties had in 1990," Shabani emphasized.
Asked why they didn't sit down for talks, Shabani says they had no one to talk to, as both he and his uncle Zeqir Kordhoni faced threats.
"Who should I sit with, with the cousins who call me, with those who have come to my house, with those who send threatening messages. Who should I sit with, can't we go beyond this? With what right do we tell Zeqir Kordhoni to forgive some people who have been lynching his family for two weeks. These are criminal offenses. With this, he sits, with these people?" said Shabani.
