The vice-president of the Democratic Party, Roland Bejko, has expressed through a post on social networks that if he were a deputy today, he would enter the Assembly hall to vote in favor of removing Sali Berisha's immunity.
Bejko said that although there is nothing personal with the former head of the government, his stance would be political due to his stance against the model of Berishism and authoritarianism, populism and lies represented by the deputy who brought himself into this situation. shameful at the expense of the democrats and the PD itself.
He further added that the fall of Berisha is the beginning of the end of Rama.
" Dear friends,
I understand the reasons for the non-participation of DP deputies in the parliamentary session today, but believe me, if I were a deputy, I would enter that hall and vote for the removal of the mandate of deputy Sali Berisha. I have nothing personal with Mr. Berisha, but the attitude would be political for the following reasons:
1. Today I would go to vote in respect of my two-year stance against the model of Berishism, authoritarianism, hypocrisy, lynching, physical violence and verbal violence, defamation, slander, populism, anathema, lies represented by the deputy since the end of brought himself into this shameful situation at the expense of the Democrats and the DP itself.
2. I would consider today as the day that would separate the Democratic Party from its past, with its clear orientation towards a western political model.
3. I would consider today as a historic day, which would put an end to the 32-year political transition represented by Berishism as an elite that came to us as an extension of the 1990s Racism.
4. Today, by voting in the parliament, I would vote for the further strengthening of the DP partnership with the USA, who have guaranteed the installation of new justice by declaring war on the corrupt elite, organized crime and conflicting politics.
5. Today, with my vote, I would certify the DP's absolute support to SPAK prosecutors, encouraging them to include in their net any of the officials who abused public funds.
6. Today, my vote in parliament would certify the final closing of a long chapter and the opening of a new political era, ending impunity at the highest levels of the state.
