The MP of the Freedom Party, Monika Kryemadhi, said that it was impossible for her to vote today, in the session where Sali Berisha's immunity was removed by the majority vote, paving the way for SPAK to arrest him.
She says that the presence of the guard made the discussion difficult and the session took place with tension.
" I was in the Assembly. You couldn't vote.. I entered first. I am against any confrontation with Gadists. They take orders from their superiors. The entire hall was filled with guards. DP MPs were in coffee. As soon as it started they were checked. There would be no reason for violence. Bardhi asked the mayor to remove the guard. What a discussion that would be. Instead of iron bars, there were guards. It was not a session anyway. The immunity of a former prime minister was removed, it was not a hearing that I am passing. I don't know if it was intentional by SPAK to create a legal handicap. Has SPAK made it known? It is a kind of bell that shows how difficult it is for justice to act from a government that intimidates it ", said Kryemadhi.
Kryemadhi further said that the justice in the case of Berisha acted with two standards and that the measure was taken in an illegal way, however she is of the opinion that she herself would face justice, even if Rama was the head of SPAK.
For Kryemadhi, this clash that is happening between Sali Berisha and justice is a good cause to unite the opposition.
" Measures against Berisha were taken illegally. In my opinion, the deputy does not need to have immunity. If it is a game of SPAK and GJKKO that there are problems with justice, on the other hand, I think that it gave the argument to many lawyers and internationals who have been skeptical about the Reform in Justice, it jumps. Has the Reform been compromised? Why use 3 standards? Justice is not using the same standard. I, in the Law Commission, will say, come on, ask me to remove the immunity, not to change the measure. It is a good cause for the opposition. The opposition is given the chance to unite and create the spirit and hope to say that I am now openly declaring that you have an authoritarian government. Rama leaves Basha to join the PD. Basha has his own legal problems. When you make a hole for your friend, you fall in! He made a lot of holes. Friends have fallen, but more will fall.
For me, if Edi Rama is the president of SPAK, I will face justice. If my battle is not with prosecutors or judges, everything is written. There are many eyes watching. The prosecutor may come to pick you up.
Berisha has sacrificed himself and his family to legitimize a system where we are today. Arbër Malltezi is a political prisoner in my opinion. Sali Berisha has sacrificed to have a cause ", she concluded.
