The General Secretary of PL, Tedi Blushi, has denounced the 2024 draft budget of the Municipality of Tirana, where according to him the mayor Erion Veliaj has increased the fee for kindergartens and nurseries.
Through a post on the "Facebook" social network, Blushi writes that Veliaj has decided to increase the fee for kindergartens by ????????% and the fee for nurseries by ????????%.
According to Blush, this is an attempt by the Municipality to collect money in order to pay for Tirana's non-existent incinerator.
" Erion Veliaj is increasing the fee for kindergartens by 55% and the fee for nurseries by 77%! In the draft budget for the year 2024, the Municipality of Tirana plans to increase again the daily food fee for children in kindergartens and nurseries.
From ALL 85/day which was the fee for nurseries at the beginning of Veliaj's mandate, the price that will be set next year is ALL 150/day.
From 110 ALL/day which was the fee for kindergartens at the beginning of Veliaj's mandate, the price that will be set next year is 170 ALL/day.
Another added cost to family budgets! To fill the coffers of the Municipality by increasing the price of food for children in kindergartens and nurseries, to use this money to pay for the non-existent incinerator of Tirana, is criminal ", he said.
