PD MP, Tritan Shehu commented on the draft proposal of Prime Minister Edi Rama for the association in Kosovo.
In an interview for Panorama TV, Shehu said that the draft proposal was a big blunder by the prime minister, since according to him Rama is not the governor of Pristina.
The DP deputy also added that Albania should stand by Kosovo and not damage its sovereignty in the eyes of the international community and Serbia.
Furthermore, he adds that Albania should condemn the Serbian aggression and provocation in the North, as according to him the violence is repeated to keep the tension alive and to create new foci of tension in the region.

Edi Rama's draft proposal for the association?
I think this was a big blunder by the prime minister, as he is not the governor of Kosovo. Kosovo is a sovereign state and does not need Albania's paternalism, Rama wants to show that Kosovo does not have its capabilities and that it was a wrong message that was given and does not solve the issue. If Rama had something to propose, he could do it through non-public channels with the state of Kosovo, but unfortunately we saw Rama in a meeting with Vucic in Moldova and they were not in sync with the events.
Do you know what the draft contains?
No one knows, not even Kosovo itself, and it is a wrong way to reduce the role of Kosovo. Albania must strongly support Kosovo in the face of aggression and the attack on KFOR and the police, Albania is on Kosovo's side as two sovereign states. Relations with Serbia must be normal, and it cannot exceed the limit. It cannot be demanded that Kosovo-Albania relations be interdependent, from Serbia. Kosovo is a country that is on our side, there are Albanians. Such games and actions are wrong, they seek to damage the authority and sovereignty of Kosovo in the eyes of the international community.
If Rama maintains himself as an independent expert, this is not the case. It is a wrong positioning for Albania, Kosovo and the region. Today we are 14 years after Bush's visit, which gave broad messages about peace, since Albania is considered a leading country for peace in the region since 1992. Unfortunately, Rama's mistakes and tricks, with the Open Balkans, gave Vucic economic hemogeneity in the region. The leading role in the region has been taken by Vucic, Rama placed Vucic as the champion of peace. These policies have seriously damaged the region and Kosovo, and created falsity. Rama wants to wash Vučić, Kurti is right. Albania should first condemn Serbian aggression and provocation in the North, as it is repeated to keep the tension alive and create new foci of tension in the region.
