Neritan Sejamini spoke about the leadership of the UN Security Council by Edi Rama, which he called a positive event for Albania, but there were some criticisms for the prime minister who used the event as a platform for personal promotion, while arguing about the procedure with he called the Russian ambassador "banal".
Invited to the show "Te Paespozuarit" on MCN TV, Sejamini stated that the credit for the temporary presidency of the Security Council from Albania does not belong to Edi Rama, but also to the previous government, which applied since 2007, to achieve it this representation.
"There are five permanent member countries in the Security Council. There are also six temporary members every two years. All the countries of the world circulate. Albania has applied since 2007, when Mr. Berisha was in the government, but Mr. Rama brought out the fruits So this is not the merit of Mr. Rama, but a long process.
It is a good thing for Albania, it is an advertisement. This strengthens our relationship with the US. Beyond that, it is not a big event, or an event that will have any impact on Albania.

Even for Mr. Rama, who appropriates every event, does not recognize the merits of the previous government, it is a good thing, but every exaggeration that is made is worthless. No one in the world has noticed this thing that happened, but in Albania it has become a big thing.
Russia's ambassador is a million times more important than Rama at the UN. The Security Council does nothing unless Russia agrees and decides. The role that Mr. Rama wants to give himself is an exaggeration. That retort there is not nice and diplomatic. They were fighting over something banal, I don't mind, I don't understand. She would be prouder if she spoke against the Russian aggression, etc.," declared Sejamini
