Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that there is no concrete data regarding the issue of funds suspended by the EU for agriculture.
In an interview for the show "Real Story", he said that the issue will be examined because there is no concrete data and that the EU report on this issue is expected.
"It is an issue that we will look at concretely. We do not have any concrete data that we will have to wait for the report that will come from the EU, but it is a sign of a good will to be completely open in this relationship with the EU and to create for them and ourselves the comfort of a communication related to the problems and their addressing without having the impasse of a minister, in this case of the minister who, in my view, has done an extraordinary job as Minister of Agriculture, which connects the period of her stay in office with the period when these problems have been found. It is normal to be like this, otherwise there would be a stalemate in this relationship and we don't have to have it. We want to improve. There is no question that as long as problems are found, those problems should be addressed and the operating system should be improved.", he said.
