Monday will be a busy day due to Sali Berisha's troubles with justice.
At 10:00 a.m. he will have to appear at the Special Prosecutor's Office, to implement the security measure "obligation to appear".
On January 3, judge Engert Pëllumbi decided to restore the first security measure requested by SPAK, and Berisha will have to appear at the prosecutor's office on Monday of the first and last week in SPAK. Tomorrow he is expected to appear to sign, as he has mobilized the militants in the protest. The branches of Tirana and the districts near the capital have been asked to mobilize supporters to gather in front of SPAK.
But while Berisha's visits to SPAK will now be formal, as we will see him there every day at the beginning and end of each month, there is a more important development the next day.
Tomorrow it will be decided whether or not the "Partizani" file will go to trial. SPAK closed the file and sent Berisha, his son-in-law and some of his associates to trial, accusing them of violations with the privatization of the land, where the "Partizani" sports complex used to be. Ironically, the file is in the hands of judge Flojera Davidhi, the same judge who lifted Berisha's security measure.
It was Davidhi who released him from house arrest, with the argument that now that the investigations are closed, the security measure is no longer worth it. It remains to be seen tomorrow if the judge will decide to pass the file for trial, or return it to SPAK for completion. / Pamphlet
