Instead of relying on manufacturing, construction, trade and services or industry, it has been sustained mainly by the fiscal effect of net taxes and public spending on administrative salaries, emphasizing a growth model driven by consumption and budgetary policy, not by the real productive base.
But the country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, sees it from a different perspective, with the vision that he wants citizens to see.
Rama stated in his podcast that next year's budget will bring significant income growth for citizens and said that Albania "is at another level," and this progress will be reflected in everyone, both public and private sector employees.
"Even during this week, we have been available to citizens, with detailed submissions, through public hearings, of the budget for the year that is approaching, a year that is entering on a good footing for Albanians in terms of income, primarily in salaries and pensions, but also in terms of public investments, which will again mark, all of these together, a historic increase.
Now, Albania is at another level. This is a fact that will become more tangible every year in the daily lives of our people, of those who live by work, whether in the public or private sector, in the daily lives of our pensioners, our grandparents, in the daily lives of those most in need, for whom support, social protection, is increasing.
Because those who gave us extraordinary trust, with 83 mandates, an unprecedented support, for Albania 2030, not only deserve more and more every year, but will have more and more every year, as the burden of debt towards them is such that it will make us continue to increase our work every day," said Prime Minister Rama.

I bëj thirrje qeveris që buxhetin e vitit 2026 të vendosi me ligj minimumin jetik të paktën të sa të kohës Enverit 15 vite pun pencjoni minimal 3800 lek po kaq të jet edhe sot sipas konvertimit të lekut 38000 lek dhe maksimali nga 7400 lek në kohën e Enverit në 74000 lek në kohën e sotme dhe çdo viti indksimi sipas inflcjonit
