Former DP MP Ervin Salianji denied that he started this movement within his political force because he intends to take its leadership.
Asked if he is aiming for Berisha's "chair", he said that he seeks the improvement of the DP and added that it is not the time to express ambitions now, but without denying anything regarding the position of party leader.
" I aim to improve the DP. This is not the moment for anyone to show ambition. It is even the moment when someone can withdraw from the ambitions to unite the party. But we cannot pretend that the problems do not exist. I am interested in the DP coming to power ," he told "A2CNN".
Sali Berisha has called Salijanj's meetings private activities, but he said that he only does public activities. He criticized the DP's approach of organizing rallies every Monday in front of the Prime Minister's Office and added that a revolt is needed to overthrow the socialist government.
"Can we overthrow Edi Rama by going to his office with music? The podium in front of the Prime Minister's Office is an unacceptable form. Edi Rama cannot be overthrown with music in his office ," added Salianji.
