There are many candidates for the mouse, while the owl is known who it is. Remember the one from Kavaja who won the primaries, and the owl scolded him like a mouse, this is the story of those from the swamp
Prime Minister Edi Rama, as expected, focused his speech at the opening of the Socialist Party's campaign for the May 11 elections on Albania's membership in the European Union.
Rama said that while the Socialists' priority is EU membership, the swamp's priority is the return of the owl to power for the third time. The Prime Minister has not left aside jokes directed at the opposition, but also at Chris LaCivita, who will lead the Democrats' campaign in the May 11 elections.
Rama said that this reminded him of the story of the palace thugs calling Latif and telling him to come over or they would beat us up.
The socialist leader said that not even Latifi, who yesterday posted a video with an owl asking who the mouse is, can help the swamp.
"There are many candidates for the mouse, while the owl is known. Remember the one from Kavaja who won the primaries, and the owl killed him like a mouse, this is the story of those from the swamp," said Rama.
The Prime Minister, continuing the jokes about LaCivita, said, "Well done to him for finding fools to pay him."
"The owl brought Latif from the US with who knows how much money, and bravo to him for taking the money from the swamp owl," said Rama.
He has called on Albanians, beyond their beliefs, to join the Socialist Party, not to become socialists, but for a European Albania, for Albania's membership in the EU.
"Lady Albania will become a queen when we, her sons and daughters, place the crown with the stars of the European Union on her head," said Rama.
The Head of Government also warned that this election on May 11 would not be a simple campaign, but a great assembly village by village and city by city with all Albanians, beyond the left and the right, so as not to miss our encounter with history.
"Between Albanians, Greeks, Italians and anyone else, there should be no more difference. And not only should there be no difference, but there should be no chance for anyone to see it from the bottom up," said Rama.
He said that today's Albania will not be the same as the Albania of 2030 in the European Union.
"We will be a new Albania, another country, with another position and another power, with rights that we do not have today and will not have tomorrow unless we become part of that family," said Rama.
The Prime Minister said that whoever enters that house can no longer play hide and seek with its citizens, no one can question justice before the law.
Speaking about the justice reform, Rama said that no one other than the Socialists could carry out and guarantee this reform.
"May 11 is not an election between several parties, but between Albania 2030 in the EU or between it straight into the pit. With us or with the magnificent swamp, with us or with the small swamps around it. Only Albania2030, protects the foundation of equality before the law, which the Socialist Party had the courage to throw. Until we bring Mrs. Albania into the main hall of the EU, only I and the Albanians united with us, can protect the new justice from the sludge of the swamp", said Rama.
He emphasized that there is only one date ahead of us, May 11, and after that only one mandate to win the historic bet for Albania's membership in the EU.
"We have the chance to change the course of history, we have Albania's European destiny in our hands," Rama emphasized.
He considered Albania's membership in the EU and becoming one with it as a final march towards the promised land of Europe.
