Socialist deputy, Baftjar Zeqo, has reacted regarding his involvement in the file of former minister Arben Ahmetaj. Baftjar Zeqo said that he does not remember whether or not he met Mirel Mërtir.

This statement comes after his name is mentioned in SPAK investigations, where Arben Ahmetaj has sent a message on the phone asking him to wait for Mërtir.

"Ahmetaj is a party member. There is no moment that says that I met with Ahmetaj, nor did I drink coffee... I did not sign tenders for the incinerators. The incinerator is after 2015. The second moment is that SPAK is investigating, that's all I know about incinerators. I have not communicated with Ahmetaj, he is a party member, he was not my friend. I don't remember the meeting and the topic for Martyr. If I remembered, I would say. I don't recognize his face. Ahmetaj sent me an SMS to wait for Mürtir. The meeting happened 11 years ago.
