Meanwhile, according to Spahi, in the case of Ahmetaj, the situation is very different. According to him, the demand for arrest is too extreme.

Albania has also investigated Ilir Meta in various legal and procedural circumstances. If Meta has been guaranteed his freedom in a criminal trial, this other one is going to arrest. The removal of the immunity of the former democratic leaders was under comfortable conditions and different from what is being done to high SP officials. Furthermore, the lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu stated that Albania should go to early elections due to the many scandals in the government, which culminated in Ahmetaj's case.

Success will be measured by justice. In the eyes of foreigners, the arrest of the former deputy prime minister would be called a success. Ahmetaj was preparing to leave. He understood that he would be arrested when he was called to the Prosecutor's Office ", said Spahiu.
The Assembly decided today to approve SPAK's request for arrest. Voting will take place on Monday afternoon in a special session.
