The old fable 'Berisha' keeps Edi Rama in the game

Nazism, Edi Rama and the road to his overthrow...

Albania is facing a critical situation that requires a fundamental change. Edi Rama has governed the country for many years, and despite the efforts of the opposition, he continues to hold power without being seriously challenged. The protests organized so far by the opposition are turning out to be increasingly weak and without concrete results. So, the question we must ask is: What must we do to bring about the change that Albania needs so much?

History has shown us that great change only happens when there is a crisis that forces people to react. Every revolution or social transformation is born from the need to overthrow the current system due to material interests and the struggle for power. To pretend otherwise is an illusion, because those in power will not willingly give it up.

A powerful historical example is the rise of Hitler in Germany in 1933. Hitler would never have come to power had it not been for the economic crisis that engulfed Germany after World War I and the Great Depression. At the time, millions of Germans were desperate and hopeless, looking for a leader who could offer a way out of the economic and social chaos. Hitler and his Nazi party offered a powerful and compelling fable that manipulated the feelings and aspirations of the Germans, becoming for them a potential savior. This showed that not only material interests, but also fables and perceptions that are created in times of crisis, are the key to major political changes.

Similarly, Edi Rama has managed to maintain power by creating a deliberate crisis and building a fable that makes Albanians feel represented, despite the true reality. This fable is his greatest strength and at the same time the greatest weakness of the opposition, which has yet to offer a credible alternative to challenge this narrative. In this well-crafted fable, Edi Rama has managed to impress upon Albanians that Saliu is with him. Either through the permits for the construction of the towers that he gives to his son, or even through the rumors that he spreads in the media about agreements under the table with the opposition. Rama has built the perfect fable and managed to bring the most loyal democrats of Saliu close to him.

It is clear that the person who will represent the opposition in Albania must be able to build a real crisis and not just a media crisis to say that there is a crisis in Albania. The real crisis must be a deep shock that affects the material interests and perceptions of the people, making it clear that the system established by Edi Rama no longer matches the needs and aspirations of Albanians.

The fact that Edi Rama is winning more and more convincingly every year is a clear indication that the material interests of the people are not in conflict with the system he has set up. Rama managed to fill the minds of more than a million Albanians, and to challenge this dominance, a new fable must be created that is equally powerful and reliable.

To topple Rama and bring about a real change in Albania, it is not enough to rely on empty protests and demands. A real crisis must be created to shake his power base and change the fable he has built. We must present a new vision for Albania, a powerful fable that makes it clear that Rama is no longer the right choice for the future of our country.

Crises have always been the engine of major political and social changes. As in the case of Germany in 1933, when the change came as a result of the economic crisis, also in Albania, a new crisis can be the key to bring about the necessary change. Albania must create the conditions for a crisis and build a new fable, to be embraced by all Albanians and that challenges the status quo of Edi Rama. / Pamphlet
