DP leader Sali Berisha was asked about the request of PL President Ilir Meta to be questioned as a person in the know about January 21st.
Berisha said that Meta may know more than he does. While focusing on the Meta-Prifti audio tape, Berisha said that the Italian institute claimed that it had been copy-pasted 28 times and was not true.
"Yesterday Rama committed a great deception on Albanians and Europe, which I will condemn with the greatest force. The sun shattered Rama. Everything that tells the truth is accepted by me. Edi whipped Rama and exposed all his deceptions publicly.
I have no idea what things Ilir Meta knows more than I do. That incident is based on the falsification, the manipulation of a recording of the former minister, the late Dritan Prifti, who for the sake of the truth thought he would put pressure on me, but I told him to make it public as soon as he left the office. I think Ilir Meta has no more things to explain than I do. He took the recording to Italy and they declared that it was copy-pasted 27 times and that Edi Rama did the fraud.
"The new Chief Prosecutor has not been appointed yet, but I have no information about the one who has been proposed. I have no preference and my position depends on whether or not he has a connection to crime," Berisha said, among other things.
