Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj has articulated another direct accusation against the government and the Socialist Party, stating that the current government essentially represents the former Municipality of Tirana and no longer a political force with an ideological identity. In an interview given to Syri TV, Ahmetaj stated that the government is contaminated by the behaviors and practices of a single man, referring to Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Ahmetaj: If you look at it today, the government is the former Municipality of Tirana. All contaminated by the official and unofficial vices of this man. Take one by one. All of them. Where is the Socialist Party? Who is the Socialist Party? What does Pirro Vëngu have to do with the Socialist Party? What does the Minister of Interior have to do with the Socialist Party? There is a group that are salaried workers, who did not go there for a mission, they went for the salary. There is a group that has decided to remain silent.
