Fredi Beleri's brother, Leonardi, has spoken to the Greek media after the Fier court released the Greek MEP from prison, pardoning the six weeks he had left to serve his sentence.
He told the media in Athens that justice will be done when innocence is proven.
"Of course justice will be when he is acquitted by the European courts where his innocence will be proven.
The plan that was created by Rama's regime with the sole aim of capturing the municipality of Himara was very obvious," he added.
Beleri stayed in prison for 16 months, he applied for release from the cell in July after serving 2/3 of the sentence.
The court of Fier accepted the lawyer's request, after three failed sessions, where Beleri requested bail.
After two hours of sitting in the Court of Fier, the court decided on the conditional release of Fredi Beler, who still has six weeks until the end of his sentence.
Beler has been sent to the high security prison in Fier to complete the necessary procedures and will then be released.
"The court accepted the request, ordered early release, 6 weeks were left, respect for the court, early release on condition, two months were left. The owner who has the keys to the prison gave permission for me to leave after the elections", said Beler's lawyer, Geni Gjyzari.
