Several videos are circulating on social networks that reflect the blunders or slips of Sali Berisha, the Democratic Party leader and leader of the "Greater Albania Alliance" coalition, in the campaign for the May 11 elections.
In many cases, these sequences have gone viral, but the DP's communications director, Alfred Lela, has found an excuse regarding the blunders of the former Prime Minister who is seeking a third return to power.
In an interview on Syri TV, Lela said that mistakes happen because Berisha has read about 1200 pages for each part of the program and when he holds 3-4 meetings a day, it is not that extraordinary to make mistakes.
With almost 20 days left until the May 11 elections, the democratic leader is trying to unveil a program, mainly on economic issues, hoping that this is the point that voters value most. On the other hand, Prime Minister Edi Rama is using the EU integration card as the strongest weapon for his 4th consecutive government mandate.
