Gjergj Zefi: There are no atheists in the trenches!

All maskers become nationalists in the end.

Today's headline was Prime Minister Rama's meeting with the Albanians in Athens. What stood out the most was the fact that all of a sudden, like a bolt from the open sky, the "Western model" leader turned into a Balkan one.

With high notes of nationalism, Rama gave a long speech to the Albanians gathered at the Galatsi stadium in Athens, where he mentioned issues that in his 11 years as prime minister, he has rarely or not mentioned.

The man who forced thousands of Albanians to leave their country and who never admitted that he was following wrong policies towards his people, today knelt before those he had expelled.

But why this change?

What made Rama suddenly "jump on the neck" of extreme nationalism?

All this theater seems to hide a clear message, Rama has smelled his political end! This is because all over the world, leaders who thought themselves "immortal", turn into patriots when they feel the end.

As the Editor of "Pamflet", Gjergj Zefi, writes in a post on his "Facebook" social network; "all masquerades become nationalists in the end".

Commenting on today's meeting of Rama in Athens, Zefi emphasized that the last speeches, from Ramiz Alia to Berisha e Meta, had notes of extreme patriotism, while today it was Rama's turn.

" There are no atheists in the trenches...

Even the biggest atheist, before the soul comes out, prays to God!

All maskers become nationalists in the end.

The last speeches have notes of extreme patriotism. This is what happened to Ramiz Ali, Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta...

This is also happening with Edi Rama...!" , writes Gjergj Zefi.
