He states that the only way to remove him from the electoral race was to raise false accusations, since according to him, in a direct confrontation he would win.
" The imaginary accusations, as usually happens with imaginary enemies of the past, that I met those I have denounced for years, starting with Suel Çela, are evidence of political misery. Especially when it is known that many others have had him on their side and used him for their own interests," writes Salianji, among other things.
Salianji: The only way Edi Rama found to stop me from facing them in the elections was the fabricated accusations, in my battle against one of the most powerful mafia groups in the country. Because in the race and with the race I beat them! I have shown this in Korça, in Kavaja, in the party and everywhere: my only strength is my personality, my will and the support of the people.
In Elbasan was the entire vital structure of the Democratic Party. The imaginary accusations, as usually happens with imaginary enemies of the past, that I had met those I have denounced for years, starting with Suel Çela, are a testament to political misery. Especially when it is known that many others had him on their side and used him for their own interests.
But what does this matter? In a democracy and not an autocracy, I would go to court to confront every slanderer. But in a confrontation because I want the Democratic Party to be the winner and some employees are afraid of losing power and bargaining, I am reacting publicly once, and then, as I have done every time, I will go to the scene of crime, corruption and their collaborators in bargaining!
Society and democrats are screaming loudly that they need to hear real solutions:
– for consecutive losses,
– for not keeping one's word,
– for degrading the debate into false accusations,
– for promoting serial losers,
– for cementing oneself in a chair of power without support,
– for the atrophy of the party,
– about the powerlessness to overthrow a government rotten with corruption at every level,
- about the inability to bring citizens to protests
– about the inability to make the Democratic Party victorious.
Instead, leaders who should be held accountable demand accountability and smear the Democrats!
As for me, I have not appointed, nor commanded the structures to elect as a member of the Democratic Party someone who, in the function of a prosecutor who should fight gangs, is in a car with them, under a hail of bullets with some of the most dangerous criminals! This is a red line and damage to the moral card of the opposition!
I have continued and will continue on the right path: meetings with the Democrats, face to face, with my freedom and the truth, without stopping. The Democrats and the opposition people deserve rotation.
